Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA), is a state corporation under the KEMSA Act 2013 and the Miscellaneous Act 2015 whose mandate is primarily to procure, warehouse and distribute drugs and medical supplies to prescribed public health programmes, the national strategic stock reserve, prescribed essential health packages, national referral hospitals and county public hospitals.

JOB TITLE DIRECTOR, CORPORATE SERVICES
Reports To The Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The successful candidate will be responsible
for development, implementation and review of finance and
accounts, human resource management, administration and
property management, ICT, Corporate communication, security
and strategies, standards, and guidelines in the Authority.
1. Scope of Work /Duties /Responsibilities
1.1. Advising the Authority on all matters pertaining to Finance & Accounts, Human Resource Management, Administration & Property Management,Corporate Communication, Information and Communications Technology and Security;
1.2. Initiating development of policies, plans and strategies in the functional
areas of Finance & Accounts, Human Resource Management,
Administration & Property Management, Corporate Communication,
Information and Communications Technology and Security;
1.3. Coordinating, Finance & Accounts, Human Resource Management,
Administration & Property Management, Corporate Communication,
Information and Communications Technology and Security activities in the
Authority;
1.4. Fostering a culture that promotes team capability and reflects the values
which facilitate performance, professionalism and innovation by staff
throughout the Authority;
1.5. Planning, directing and executing all human resources, Finance &
Accounts, Administration and Property Management, ICT, Corporate
Communications and Security strategies, policies and plans;
1.6. Ensuring effective implementation and compliance with all legislative
requirements relating to corporate services;
1.7. Coordinating Authority’s Management Information Systems and security;
1.8. Coordinating technology infrastructure in line with the Authority’s goals
1.9. and changing technologies;
1.10. Overseeing the security and safety of the Authority’s premises and
1.11. properties; and
1.12. Providing technical, strategic and policy advice on ICT matters and
implementation of various ICT work processes, procedures and other
administrative related matters.
2. Qualifications
2.1. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following filed; Finance, Economics,
Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resource Management, or
its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
2.2. Master’s degree in any of the following field; Finance, Economics,
Business Administration, Commerce, Human Resource Management, or
its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
2.3. Leadership development Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from
a recognized
2.4. Certificate in Management Course from a recognized institution;
2.5. Proficiency in Computer Applications; and
2.6. Fulfilled the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution.
3. Experience
3.1. A minimum period of twelve (12) years in relevant work experience and at least
four (4) years in a Management position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
